The Holiday Season is here and we would like to wish all friends and family and happy, safe, and healthy holidays with your loved ones. We had an exciting weekend in Dallas and Houston as teams kicked off our official Winter Challenge Series with the Peach Basket Classic! We hosted over 60 teams in Dallas and 40 plus in Houston and the competition was great. This was our first event back to a tournament format where we awarded 1st-3rd place in every division! Let’s do a quick rundown on the Winter Challenge Series! The Winter Challenge will consist of 8 tournaments in Houston and 8 in Dallas. The first 7 events are all Saturday only with 3 games; we will award 1st-3rd place of every division, every weekend. The 8th and final tournament is the first NBC Sponsorship event of the year, Winter Blast Championship on February 28-29th. The start of the Winter Challenge also marks the restart of our Q-Points! Teams will compete every week to earn Q-Points to try and secure a sponsorship for our upcoming Road to Nationals event beginning in March 2021. 1st place in each division will receive $500 Credit, 2nd place will earn $250 credit and 3rd place will earn $150 in Road to Nationals credits. While those credits are nice and will help with entry fees, most teams have their eyes set on the Grand Champion prize! The top Q-Point earner in Dallas and Houston will receive 100% of ALL entries into our Road to Nationals Series paid for, excluding NBC 2021.
