Overview

The Jean Patrice Harrington, Student Center offers members of the Mount community a home for a full range of student services as well facilities for recreation, fitness, intramurals, and varsity athletics. The completion of the Harrington Center in 1998 was a significant time in history for the Mount. It accompanied the athletics transition from NAIA to the NCAA III Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, as well as the inception of the Lions’ Men’s basketball program.

The 2,000-seat gymnasium is the official home of the Mount St Joseph University's men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball, and wrestling teams. The center also serves as a training and practice facility for all of the Mount’s 22 varsity sports.

The Harrington Center houses intramural sports, two racquetball courts, an indoor running track, a fitness center, a weight room, and an athletic training room. The center is home to student clubs and organizations, Wellness and Student Health Services, Student Life Offices, Women's Center, and the Children's Center. The Mount St. Joseph University Bookstore and Food Court can be found in the lower level.
